Bought and let

October 15, 2015 Property News 0

The team at the Goadsby office in Chandler’s Ford have had further success with their proactive approach in relation to Buy-to-Let. A landlord recently purchased a property from the sales team for investment purposes and, working hand in hand with the sales team, the lettings department was able to liaise with the landlord and offer the best advice and guidance.

The landlord was impressed with lettings team’s proactive approach and felt their new purchase was in safe hands from start to finish.

While the Hiltingbury property was still going through the sale process, the lettings team were able to do some background marketing and they provided the landlord with a list of potential tenants.

As soon as the property was ready to market, Goadsby lettings managed to secure a let on the first viewing.

Molly Gibbs, who runs the lettings team in Chandler’s Ford, commented: “It is because we are a multi-disciplined company that we are able to offer an all-round comprehensive service for our clients which produces the best results.”

Keeping it In-House

October 15, 2015 Property News 0

Goadsby’s Winchester office was recently instructed to sell a two bedroom flat in the popular Ashbourne Court in Winton Close, off the Andover Road, and very quickly sold it to an investment landlord. Upon completion the landlord instructed the lettings department to market the property and was very pleased to find the property was let on its first viewing.

Kim Bone, Assistant Lettings Manager, advised that this is due to the great working relationship between the sales and lettings teams within the Goadsby infrastructure and believes this offers investors and landlords a far greater all round service.

Kim explains: “Team members from sales and lettings both attend viewings with buy to let investors as we feel it is beneficial for landlords in case they have any questions or would like up to date information about legislation which is particularly helpful for first time landlords.”

If you are thinking of purchasing an investment property or selling please contact the Winchester office on 01962 620444 and speak to Kim Bone in Lettings or Chris Pickard in Sales who would be delighted to help. Alternatively email winchester@goadsby.com…
